2008 Conservation Scorecard

Welcome to the online version of the Virginia League of Conservation Voters' 2008 General Assembly Conservation Scorecard. This scorecard grades your state legislators on their conservation voting record during the 2008 General Assembly session. Our 2008 Newsletter accompanied the release of our Scorecard.

VALCV's Conservation Scorecard has provided Virginians like you with the tools to evaluate your elected officials since 2000.

Interactive Scorecard

This year, VALCV offers you a new way to view your legislators' conservation records. Using the interactive Google maps below users can find their own legislators' scores while also seeing how legislators from around the Commonwealth match up

Navigating through the map is simple. Using the hand icon, click once and hold to grab the google map image and move up and down or side to side.  Double click using the hand icon to zoom in on an area.

Click once to reveal information about a legislator represented by the dot on the map.  A weblink at the bottom of each legislator's window will take you to a page with detailed information about your legislator including contact information.

Click "view larger map" below each map window if you would like to see a larger google map representation.  You may need to zoom in to see your district.  A legislator's location on the map is based on their local district office information, with some adjustment made if the office address is located in an area outside of a district.

(If you aren't sure who your legislator is, find out here.)
